Organizational innovation in hospitals：the Health service model that Focus on the patients
Health industry will be increasingly important in China’s economic development. With satisfying the need of patients as their goal, hospitals are a type of institution that gathers knowledge, technology, and service. Studying the organization and management of hospitals is of great empirical value, while discussions of the relationships among hospitals, patients, healthcare workers and new technologies in China has the potential to create new organizational theories in academia. This project studies the management practices of China’s top hospital, through various angles such as external environment, selection and training of healthcare workers, purchase of equipment and medicines, treatment and care for patients, as well as patients’ experiences and feedback. It analyses the excellent organizational model for top hospitals and provides advices for the healthcare industry.
