Guanghua-World Bank "MOOC on China Development Model"
Peking University's "Belt and Road Institute”plans to launch a MOOC on "Understanding China's Development" in collaboration with the World Bank in the 2020-2021 academic year. The courses are divided into three series: "Chinese Economy" "Chinese Finance" and "Chinese Management".The lecturers, mainlyprofessorsfromGuanghua, will provide rational, systematic and profound lectures on these three fields from the perspective of scholars based on objective data, empirical studies and cases. It covers the background of China's economic development, the history of reform and opening up, the opportunities and challenges of the new era, how the financial system supports economic development, as well as the microfoundations of China's development - 40 years of changes in Chinese enterprises, innovation and transformation, and China's business environment, etc. From macro to micro, it provides an opportunity for outsiders to understand the logic of China's development in depth, so as to inspire and learn from it.
