Guanghua Thought Leadership Research Seminar - The economic impact of China's aging population
On May 20th, 2021, Guanghua Thought Leadership organized the seminar "The Economic Impact of China's Population Aging" held at Building 2 of GSM and the "Digital Guanghua" online conference space as scheduled. Assistant Professor Zhou Yi commented on the process and results of the 7th National Census. He analyzed the relevant issues from the demographic perspective and interpreted the "Seventh Census" data and changes from various indicators.
Dr Zhou Yi who is the Assistant Professor and Research Fellow at the Center for Social Research & Guanghua School of Management. He received his PhD in Demography from UC Berkeley. His main research interests are Economic Demography, Social Epidemiology, Organizational Sociology. He published the work on Population and Development Review, Sociological Science, Journal of Peace Research, Social Science & Medicine, Journal of Rural Studies, Auditing: A Journal of Practice & Theory, Journal of Population Economics, Economic Research, Chinese Population Science with more than 20 papers in Sino and foreign academic journals. He has also been awarded The 18th National An-Zijie International Trade Outstanding Research Award.
