Anne Tsui will present a synopsis of the editorial in the Nov 2013 issue of Management and Organization Review. It discusses the current research culture in management as lacking in the spirit of science and calling for socially responsible scholarship. Part 2 of the meeting will be meeting the new editor of the Academy of Management Journal, Prof. Gerry George. Anne Tsui was editor of AMJ in 1997 to 1999 and Gerry George is current editor 2013-2015. IACMR members are welcome to this special event with open dialogue about the status of management research in China and beyond.
