About Bridgewater
Bridgewater China Investment Management (BCIM) Co. is the WFOE PFM of Bridgewater Associates, a global investment management firm. Since its founding in 1975, Bridgewater has focused on understanding how the world works by having the deepest possible understanding of the global economy and financial markets. We then translate that understanding into great portfolios and strategic partnerships with institutional clients. With the launch of BCIM, Bridgewater is bringing this approach and understanding to Chinese markets.
Bridgewater has achieved a distinct track record of success for more than 40 years by having great people operate in a culture of radical truth and radical transparency. Our success is the direct result of our unique culture. We want an idea meritocracy in which we seek the deepest understanding and reach the best decisions by being radically truthful and radically transparent with each other. We require people to be extremely open, air disagreements, and test each other’s logic. We view discovering mistakes and weaknesses as a good thing that leads to improvement and innovation. It is by continually striving together for the highest levels of truth and excellence that we create meaningful work and meaningful relationships.
