Fidelity Company Presentation
October 15th, 6:30pm
Room 203, GuanghuaNo.1 Building, Peking University,
At Fidelity, our success depends on considered judgments based on high-quality, in-house research and analysis, and absolute attention to detail. We use what’s called bottom-up stock picking, where investments are chosen on the basis of careful analysis of individual companies’ strengths and weaknesses. It’s the opposite of a top-down style, which concentrates more on broad economic trends and market movements in the first instance.
As an Equity Research Intern, you’ll be given three to five companies to research, reviewing their assets and cash flow, assessing their trading environment and evaluating management. This will give you the information you need to make a buy or sell recommendation to the Portfolio Manager – a critical factor in their decision making. We call it a bottom-up approach to stock picking and you’ll have a central role to play.
We have internship opportunities in Hong Kong, Singapore and Japan, so please apply to your location of choice. Find out more about our Equity Research Internship at www.fidelityrecruitment.com -> graduates and interns -> Equity Research.
We welcome candidates who are either at penultimate year (Class of 2017) and final year in University (Class of 2016).A full-time offer will be extended if a candidate passes the internship successfully and depending on your graduation year, a candidate can start the full-time job either right after the internship or in August 2017.
